CBBC’s China Consumer’22  on 28th and 30th June will be UK’s largest China consumer forum since the pandemic started – a fantastic opportunity for UK brands to hone their China market strategy and reconnect with the market.

Our goal is to build awareness of the latest trends and opportunities for UK consumer businesses in the Chinese market and help UK brands reconnect with the market. The audience will be comprised of more than 150 attendees from retail, luxury, and consumer companies, with delegates from both multinationals with an established presence in the Chinese market, through to companies beginning their China journey. This conference will also be actively promoted to our extensive network of companies based in mainland China.

Day one of the forum hosted offline at the British Library will feature a morning of panel sessions where UK brands representatives and China market specialists will share insights on trends shaping the future of China’s retail sector – from story-living immersion to ‘’retailtainment’’ and look at new lifestyle movements across a variety of Chinese consumer groups, from GenZ luxury spending to emerging counter-culture communities. Break out workshops hosted by CBBC’s sponsoring partners in the afternoon will deliver tailored sessions focused on different stages of a China market journey.

The second day of the programme will host a morning Meet the China buyer programme, giving brands an opportunity to meet with potential partners virtually. The afternoon session hosted in CBBC central London office will deliver a Chinese influencer focus group opportunity, where brands will be able to pitch their products and brands to a variety of Chinese influencers and student ambassadors.

A full programme is available here.

Registration deadline for the Meet the Buyer and/or the Chinese Influencers is 6th June.
